Turfgrass Research 2014, SRP1107, July 2014. Applying soluble nitrogen increases silvery-thread moss (Bryum argenteum Hedw.) cover. Pots treated with ammonium sulfate (AMS) had more moss cover compared with urea and the control. B. argentum dry weight increased when sprayed with AMS. Contribution number 14-394-S from the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station. 3-page, color.
